So how do you pick the real estate agent that you will work with?

Hi, as a real estate agent I am of course always wondering how people decide who to pick to work with to find or sell a home.
For some it is the feeling they get from the person. For others it is the local knowledge of real estate.
Even for others it might be something in common.
Often it is someone the know or a relative.

Should it be the person who can use a strategy to actually get a home?
